RVHS hosted Hiawatha, Sabetha and Holton in a league track quad Tuesday afternoon. The Panther boys placed 3rd and the girls 4th.
Here are the winners of events:
Peyton Thomes, long jump
Darren Bausch, pole vault
Isabella Wheeler, 100M hurdles
Dominick Schnider, 1600M and 3200M
Bowen Bryan, 400M
Peyton Thomes expressed, "I think everyone is working hard to prepare for regionals. It feels good to win long jump and got a new PR at 18'3 feet. I will probably practice getting better at landing because I'm not great at landing."
Darren Bausch shared, "For regionals we are just working hard and trying to improve as much as we can in practice. Winning pole vault is pretty exciting and it was my first meet winning first on varsity. I hope that I can get better at pole vault so I can hopefully clear 11 feet at regionals."
