Ms Chenoweth's art classes created over 100 luminaries for Relay for Life. The luminaries are to honor or remember someone who battled cancer and will be a fundraiser at Relay for Life. They are $10 if someone wants one already decorated.
Relay for Life is May 17th, at Hummer Sports Park, from 6 to 11 pm. Relay is free to the public and will have a Disney theme "Wish Upon A Cure" this year. There will be food trucks, live music and other vendors on site as well. The money and awareness raised help the American Cancer Society save lives with research into causes and cures as well as help people facing cancer today with free programs.
