On Saturday, April 20, two forensic team members competed at a Regional Forensics at ACCHS in Effingham. Sam Howard competed in Poetry and Arwyn Faulkner in Prose. They both received a 1 rating, which qualified them for State Festival. This will be held at Maize High School on Saturday, May 4th.
Sammi Howard shared, "I'm pretty happy I qualified for state, I've been practicing for the last 4 years, so I'm really happy that I finally qualified. I'm going to prepare myself by practicing my piece over and over. I had a lady tell me she hated my piece right in front of me, so I switched it up and I'm doing a lot better with the one I have now."
