The RVHS band competed in Atchison for their State competition on Thursday. They performed extremely well, but got mixed reviews from the three judges. Two judges gave them "III" ratings while the third judge gave them a "I" rating with a nearly-perfect score of 79/80 possible points.
The comments he gave were, “very advanced level of performance; a very expressive performance in every respect; well-trained and wonderful teaching is clearly evident.”
