Students in Mrs. DelToro's Kansas history class have just wrapped up creating their Kansas State Capitol Game Boards! Groups of students created game boards in which there were specific requirements they would be graded on: design/creativity, format/purpose, writing directions of how to play the game, and also researching questions about the Kansas State Capitol.
Students used the Kansas State Historical Society's website: Kansas State Historical Society in order to fulfill the researching questions portion of the assignment.
Students were completing this lesson in preparation for their trip to the Kansas State Capitol, on Thursday, April 25th; learning just a little background information before they actually tour the Capitol.
