RVHS art students traveled to Highland on Thursday, April 18, to compete in an art show and participate in art activities. Students took artwork to show, participated in Art challenges: tape sculptures, button making, drawing, art trading cards and a Community mural.
Makkeyo Mahkuk received art excellent award on her beaded medallion "Indecisive."
"We all had a great day!" said Ms. Chenoweth, RVHS art instructor.
Makkeyo Mahkuk expressed, "I didn't expect it! There were a lot of unique pieces on display. I was expecting to get either an honorable mention or nothing at all. I was ecstatic!"
