FFA members brought their farm animals and tractors to school Thursday as part of their annual "Ag Day" for the RVES students. Each grade took turns rotating through stations to learn all about agriculture and how it impacts our lives every day.
One station was in the greenhouse where students found plants consisting of each leaf on their leaf-identifying poster. One station was in the FFA classroom where students learned about milk and made their own ice cream. They mixed the milk and ice and tossed the bag around until they had ice cream!
The third station was in the RVHS parking lot. Despite the rain and wind, students had fun with tractors, cows, horses and other farm animals.
