Recently the students in Physics class held a bridge building and breaking contest.
This year juniors Sydney Moss and Kiley Rogers set a new record when their bridge held 200 lbs. Kylie said they built their bridge out of popsicle sticks and hot glue. They had about 4 class periods to build the bridge.
Kiley also said the most difficult part of the project was, “probably the top of it and making sure it didn’t cave in. And doing the actual math behind it.”
They both said their favorite part of the project was winning. Reflecting on that win, Kiley said, “If we would’ve changed the sides a bit more, then it probably would’ve held more.” Congratulations, ladies.
