When asked about the project, Dr. B said that the students had two weeks to complete the boats. They could only use cardboard duct tape, but they could use as much as they needed.
To test the boats, the students used the pond behind the football field. The goal was for students to make it across the pond by pulling on rope to propel forward. They also had a float test, and the winning time was 16 minutes.
