On Tuesday, May 6th, students in Mrs. Steeleās Consumer Math class volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. They went to Topeka to remodel the porch of a house.
The students removed dated wood from the front porch so they could re-level it and attach it to the house. Then they replaced the wood.
Students also got to demolish a cement staircase and build a wooden staircase. They did a beautiful job and weāre proud of them. Good job Panthers!
When asked about what she thought about the experience, senior Telissa Montague had this to say, āIt was lots of fun and a really good experience. I would definitely recommend it.ā
