RVHS musicians traveled to Southeast of Saline High School Saturday near Salina to compete in the 3A State Solo and Small Ensemble contest. They had to receive a "I" rating at regional competition to compete at state.
The varsity mixed ensemble received a II rating and soloist Maggie Davis received a I.
On the instrumental side, RVHS had two percussion ensembles entered. Both received I ratings. Hayden Berry's vibraphone solo also received a I. There was a total of 20 gold medals for Panther percussion!
