Forensics Science

In Ms. Deter's Forensic Science class, students are currently studying biological evidence and the processes used to collect and analyze it in real investigations. On Thursday, October 23, and Friday, October 24, students participated in a hands-on lab focused on blood spatter analysis.

During the activity, students examined how different factors, such as height, angle, and force, affect the shape and size of blood droplets. This experiment helped them understand how investigators interpret evidence at crime scenes.

The lab was both educational and engaging, giving students valuable experience in observation, critical thinking, and scientific analysis which are important skills needed to be a forensic science analyst.
