4th graders studied scientific method using "The Great Cookie Dunk," to test if cookies sink or float. Students made their hypothesis, followed procedure & collected data. Conclusion: some cookies float & some cookies sink. Students discussed why the cookies would float or sink.




Third graders have begun a new forces unit in science. To kick off the unit, third graders got to work with magnets to learn about what magnets are capable of doing and even discovered some cool tricks you can do with them.

Drama class created a costume for a well-known character using newspaper, type & markers. They created costumes for Squidward from SpongeBob & Olaf from Frozen. Lucas Sims is modeling Squidward & Olicia Cook Olaf. This shows we can repurpose old material to make something new.


RVMS had a great turnout and a lot of fun with their first Family Night, which was Trivia themed. Thanks to all who came out Wednesday

Physics students are testing their egg containers today from the top of the bleachers to see if the eggs stay intact or break. They will measure height, velocity, etc. next week, so this is the final class for any adjustments
