First graders enjoyed seeing Mrs. Binkley practice "stop, drop and roll" for Fire Safety Week!

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a field trip to Ernie Miller Nature Center! 4th graders had a great time learning about Kansas history!




Benny Potts spoke to Native American Lit class about history of Prairie Band Potawatomi. He shared stories about his childhood, & life in boarding school. Students are reading Marrow Thieves, a survival story set in the future but refers to historical past of residential schools

RVHS cross country ran the game ball from Holton to Hoyt tonight and gave it to the officials at midfield!

Second graders show off their new books and art work made after a read aloud by KC Chiefs player Marcus Kemp!! Chiefs Kingdom has blessed our school with books for this semester along with lessons.
