The Royal Valley Cross Country team delivered a outstanding performance last night, bringing home a total of 16 medals after competing against a stacked field that featured top teams from 3A and 4A divisions.
7th Grade & Middle School Highlights
Lev Hickman: Medaled with an impressive 5th-place finish in the 7th-grade boys race.
Orianna Simon: Medaled in 3rd place in the 7th-grade girls race.
Junior Varsity Highlights
Ruby James: Medaled with a 14th-place finish.
Whitney Cantrell: Medaled with a 15th-place finish.
Varsity Girls Highlights
Josie Shelton: Finished 15th overall. •
Clara Larison: Finished 19th overall.
Team Performance: Placed 5th out of 10 competitive teams in a field of 103 runners.
Standout Performance: Ryleigh Wahquahboshkuk had a stellar day, setting a personal record by shaving nearly 2.5 minutes off her previous best time.
Varsity Boys Highlights
Isaac Bradley: Finished 26th in a massive field of 164 runners.
Cooper Slocum: Finished 20th overall.
Jarret Johnson: Placed 12th with a new PR, beating out several top ranked runners across 2A, 3A, and 4A.
Team Performance: The varsity boys earned 3rd-place team medals in a highly competitive meet.
