Over the summer, FBLA took students to the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio.
Senior Misa Potts and Junior Colin Dayson presented their project, a public service announcement about cyberbullying, to judges, attempting to make finals.
FBLA sponsor Mr. DiLeonardo says, “I think it was a worthwhile experience for them to see how big FBLA is and to have to go and present in a place where you don’t feel comfortable.”
Along with attending the conference, FBLA sponsors and students did other activities while in San Antonio, such as seeing The Alamo, walking the River Walk, and going to Six Flags.
Junior Colin Dayson says, “Six Flags was fun just because I find roller coasters to be thrilling and cool.”
