Student leaders from Royal Valley, Jackson Heights, and Holton high schools gathered in the school library today for the county-wide Jackson County Youth Coalition (JCYC) leadership meeting to plan student activities and service projects for the upcoming school year.
"The kids worked really hard, and they planned out some really cool activities for our members to be able to participate in this year," said Royal Valley JCYC Sponsor Mrs. Clark.
During the morning session, student representatives collaborated across district lines to brainstorm community engagement projects, peer mentorship initiatives, and youth outreach programs designed to make a positive impact across Jackson County.
