On Monday, May 4th, the RVHS Varsity Baseball and Softball teams faced off against Sabetha. Following the first game, seniors and their parents/guardians were recognized during Senior Night for their hard work and dedication to the programs throughout their high school careers.
During the ceremony, the Royal Valley Rec Association also awarded $750 scholarships to seniors Madison Blackwood and John Young. Congratulations to both students on this accomplishment!
Baseball Seniors:
Jacob Bernasek - accepted a job at Jackson Farmers Inc. Feed Mill.
Ronin Gentile - will be attending Kansas State University next year.
Hunter May - will be attending Kansas State University next year.
Trystan Murata - will be attending Haskell Indian Nations University next year.
John Young - will be attending Kansas State University next year.
Softball Seniors:
Taylor Bienhoff - will be attending Southeast Community College in Beatrice, Nebraska, while continuing her softball career.
Madison Blackwood - will be attending Washburn University next year.
Ka-tti Hale - will be attending Ottawa University, while continuing her volleyball career.
Sofie Liggatt - will be joining the Kansas Army National Guard and attending Kansas State University in January.
Abigail Milroy - accepted a welding job in Sabetha.
Sydney Moss - will be attending Washburn University next year.
Addison Samek - will be finishing the Culinary program at Washburn Tech next year.
