On Friday, May 1, RVHS senior Carsyn Nocktonick was awarded the Topeka Art Guild & Gallery Scholarship in recognition of her outstanding artistic talent and achievement!
Carsyn’s impressive submitted artwork, shown below, earned her first-place honors in the competition, along with a $1,000 scholarship.
Nocktonick says, "I was quite shocked when I realized that I received 1st place. I felt very honored though to be able to showcase my art and share my story with them."
Carsyn plans to attend Kansas State University next year, where she will major in psychology, and minor in art and business.
