Students in Mrs. Steele’s Consumer Math class, along with several JAG-K students, attended the Build My Future event at the Stormont Vail Event Center last week. This event provided students with a valuable opportunity to explore and learn more about careers in the construction industry.
While there, students were able to interact with a variety of companies across multiple fields, gaining insight into potential career paths they may be interested in pursuing. They also participated in hands-on activities that highlighted different skills and job responsibilities within the industry.
Mrs. Lein shared, “I have been taking students from my class and the Consumer Math classes for the past three years to give students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction field.”
