Following Prom on April 18th, students were able to attend After Prom at Great Play North. It started at 10:30pm and ended at 2:00am, and students were able to participate in various activities. These included mini golf, swimming, laser tag, arcade games, and a jungle gym play area.
"After Prom was my favorite part this year. I liked it a lot because there were so many things to do," said Senior Carter Manuel.
Besides the activities, students were also provided with a huge spread of food. There were grilled cheeses with different protein options, a lot of popular sides, and desserts.
"I thought it was very nice of the May's to make fresh grilled cheeses for everyone all night. It was very kind of other parents to provide us with so many sides and desserts too," said Senior Mya Synder.
To end the night, starting with seniors, their names were drawn to pick from the prizes. They got a main prize along with a $50 amazon gift card, and various other fast food gift cards. The juniors followed after the seniors and got to pick from the remaining prizes, as well as receiving fast-food gift cards.
"The prizes at after prom were incredible, everyone left smiling, and there were amazing choices of items. I got a TV and I was very grateful," said Senior Jesus Zavala.
