JAG-K seniors recently visited the state capitol for their Senior Day, gaining a firsthand look at government beyond the classroom. During their visit, students toured the building, learned about its rich history, and explored the spaces where important decisions are made.

One of the highlights of the trip was the opportunity to speak with state senators. Students asked thoughtful questions and gained valuable insight into how laws are created and how leaders make decisions that impact their communities.

Senior Carter Manuel shared, “My favorite part was the tour and seeing the library. It was really interesting to visit both houses and hear different opinions, especially about schooling and the new no-phones rule starting next year.”
