This week, RVHS JCYC hosted a Vaping Awareness Week to educate students about the harmful effects of vaping. Throughout the week, they organized a variety of engaging activities to promote healthy choices and spread awareness:
Seminar Door Decorating Contest (Theme: “Vaping is WHACK!”) Doors were to be completed by Thursday, April 2nd at noon, with winning seminars earning donuts!
Monday: Students had the opportunity to pledge to be vape-free during lunch!
Tuesday: Morning candy was handed out along with vaping awareness messages!
Wednesday: Students participated in Bingo during PowerHour and a Kahoot at lunch featuring vaping statistics. The top three participants won prizes!
Thursday: An Easter egg hunt featured eggs filled with candy and important vaping facts!
