FYC

On Tuesday, March 24th, FYC members traveled to the University of Kansas for an inside look at college life. After arriving on campus around 9:30 a.m., the group toured Wagner Lab, where they explored ongoing research projects focused on maize. They then visited the university’s greenhouses, observing a variety of experiments and plants available for sale.

Following the greenhouse tour, members headed to the Welcome Center for an informational presentation and a guided tour of campus. The visit concluded with lunch and a presentation about the Haskell/KU Exchange Program, giving students further insight into opportunities available at the university.

“My favorite part of the tour was the Haskell/KU Exchange Program, I wanted to do that so seeing how it actually functions. I think that’s an experience I want to do,” said Junior Misa Potts.
