When: Doors open @ 7AM
April 2nd, 2026 - Starts at 8AM @ Sabetha High School
Buses: Please drop off at the south doors by the Varsity Gym. Park on the south side of the parking lot by the football practice field.
School Camp Site: When you arrive, please set up camp in the old commons (Cafeteria)
Packet Pick Up: Please pick up packet from the main office.
Draws: Will start 15 minutes before each round.
Hospitality: There will be a hospitality room available to all coaches, bus drivers, and administrators.
Student Food Options: We will have concessions stand open to students throughout the day. Lunch: We will offer a sack lunch option for all students. There will be a $5 fee for this lunch, which will include Club Sandwich (Ham & Turkey), Chips, Cheese Stick, Fruit, and a Cookie.
Awards: Will be at the conclusion of the competition in the Varsity Gym.
Competition Information:
We will hold three preliminary rounds where the top six entries will advance to the final round. Medals will be awarded to the top six places and plaques to the top three schools. Sweepstakes points will be awarded on the following basis (Finals will not count toward sweeps.). Finals are cutthroat, not cumulative.

We are offering the following events:
Extemporaneous speaking, Original Oration, Informative speaking, Prose, Poetry, Serious Solo Acting, Humorous Solo Acting, Duet Acting, Impromptu Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, Program of Oral Interp, and Improvised Duet Acting. Time limits and tournament regulations will follow KSHAA rules, with the exception of entries.
•AS per LEAGUE Rules, each school must bring 2 judges, not including the head coach. Sabetha provides the rest. Coaches run the tournament at League.
Each school is allowed unlimited entries, as long as they can be accommodated. I may not be able to accommodate 15 in prose, but I will try my best. Each student may enter three events, but not two draw events (IDA/EX).
