The Royal Valley High School Band, under the direction of Missy Kimble, traveled to St. Louis, Missouri over spring break, giving the students the chance to explore new places and experiences. The trip included visits to the Gateway Arch, St. Louis Foundry, the St. Louis Zoo, and the City Museum.
A standout moment was a live jazz performance at a local St. Louis jazz club, which left a lasting impact on many students.
Senior Trystan Murata said, "The private jazz club performance was definitely my favorite. It really moved me. It made me view music in a different way and changed how I look at life."
The trip allowed students to grow closer while deepening their appreciation for music!
