Art Foundations students are bringing their creativity to life through a mosaic project. Using small pieces of colored glass, students design their own patterns on wooden panels, glue each piece into place, and finish the artwork by grouting the entire surface.
The project gives them the chance to try a new medium and express their creativity in a different way.
"My mosaic art is a butterfly. The hardest part was picking out the glass to put on my mosaic. I enjoyed breaking the glass the most," said Freshman Izzy Harris.
As the mosaics near completion, students continue turning simple pieces of glass into unique works of art.
