On Thursday, February 19th, Royal Valley FFA took members to the Western Farm Show in Kansas City. The show has been running for 64 years and features hundreds of exhibitors. Members spent the morning exploring the various presentations and booths throughout the farm show.
While visiting, students stopped by the Chance Farm & Feed booth, which was run by Royal Valley Alumni and former FFA member Blake Chance. It was exciting for students to see a former Royal Valley student showcasing his farm products and representing his business.
After the farm show, members enjoyed lunch at Legends Outlets Kansas City to wrap up their day!
"I really liked seeing all the different booths, but I really liked the baby Kangaroos and baby goats!" said sophomore Delaney Ross.
"I was really excited to see all the different presenters and I liked walking around and see all the cool stuff they had there. A lot of the booths gave out free stuff too. We all walked away with a lot of new and neat items!" said sophomore Tylie Bienhoff.
