For the second year in a row, sophomore Hanna Myers is heading to the State Wrestling Tournament. After qualifying as a freshman, Myers returned this season with higher expectations and determination to have another great season!
Hanna Myers said, "I feel excited but at the same time I'm nervous because I'm competing with a torn UCL. This year, more high school and college coaches know my name and watch me wrestle. Wrestling has shown me how capable I am of doing hard things and helps me connect with others who love the sport as well."
Head Wrestling Coach Tanner Ogden said, "It is very hard having injuries during the season and having a set back, but the way she has handled adversity this season has shown who she is. She has toughness , grit, and a huge heart. We as coaches are happy to see her punch her ticket to the state tournament again!"
