Last week, in honor of Veteran’s Day, 1st grade students created special cards and coloring pages to send to soldiers currently deployed overseas. One student’s father is stationed in Kuwait, and the class wanted to brighten his day—along with others in his unit. Mrs. Binkley later received a photo he took of several unit members holding the cards they received.
The students were thrilled to see their artwork make it all the way around the world to Kuwait!
