Royal Valley High School Girls' Cross Country runners, along with Head Coach, Nate Smith, traveled to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to compete in the Nike Cross Country Regionals on Sunday, November 9th. This is the third year that the team has participated in this race. There were over 5,500 runners who competed in the event this year, which is a new record.
Junior, Lauryn Caviness said, "It was really cold. It was only 12 degrees and there was snow on the ground. Besides that we all still persevered and finished the race as a team."
