During the month of October, the RVHS FBLA is hosting a Pickleball Tournament during Power Hour on Wednesdays for any students who signed up to participate. The tournament kicked off on Wednesday, October 8th, and will continue through the end of the month.
Students can participate or watch as spectators by paying a $1 entry fee or bringing a canned food item. All collected food donations will be given to a local food pantry to support those in need.
This exciting event was organized and planned by Dany Russell, the FBLA President. She created a website to post the rules and has a bracket for people to track their progress. In addition, Mr. Jackson's Officiating class is practicing their skills by acting as officials for the games.
