On Wednesday, October 1st, RVHS StuCo hosted a fun evening of Homecoming events, including the 2025 Powder Puff game, Community Pep Rally, and Bonfire.
The Powder Puff game featured the female juniors facing off against the female seniors, with the juniors coming out on top with a 42-20 victory. Following the game, the Community Pep Rally included candidate introductions, letters from their parents / guardians, and a fun competition where each candidate raced to see who could eat a Fruit Roll-Up the fastest! The RVHS band then energized the crowd and led students to the Bonfire in the parking lot, where everyone enjoyed the evening together. A huge thanks to the Booster Club for providing hotdogs and chips!
There was also a Homecoming Pep Rally held on Friday, October 3rd, during seminar for all RVHS students and staff. The Audio Video classes created a special video featuring baby pictures and current photos of each candidate. The candidates were then challenged to another fun competition, racing to throw volleyballs and footballs back and forth.
