Pink Out VB

On Thursday, September 4th, the Royal Valley Lady Panthers took on the Nemaha Central Thunder and the Sabetha Blue Jays in a special Pink Out Night to support Breast Cancer Awareness. The team suited up in pink, and fans who joined the cause by wearing pink received a bag of goodies from the volleyball team.

On the court, Royal Valley split their matches—picking up an exciting win over the Sabetha Blue Jays and falling to the Nemaha Central Thunder.

“We battled hard! I’m proud of how the girls come to work every day to get better,” said head coach Katie Glatczak. “Participating in Pink Out is important to us because it helps raise awareness for breast cancer. As coaches, we’ve really enjoyed working with this team so far. This group of girls is close-knit and such a joy to be around every day!”
