The Agriscience class, along with last year’s Land and Homesite team, has been hard at work preparing for the upcoming Land and Homesite Evaluation on September 24th in Valley Falls. To get ready, students have been practicing slope evaluation, a skill they began learning last year, and recently reviewed soil texturing techniques.

FFA members are also busy creating volleyball and football grams, which will be sold during Senior Night and Homecoming. Proceeds from these sales will help raise funds for chapter activities throughout the year. More information will be shared soon, but if you’re interested in purchasing grams or supporting this fundraiser, please reach out to Ms. Clark. Donations of old footballs or volleyballs are also welcome.

In addition, FFA members are growing poinsettias to share with local elders during the holiday season—a long-standing community service tradition. Members always enjoy spreading cheer by delivering the plants and seeing the joy they bring to those who receive them.
