RVHS JCYC/SAFE performed seat belt checks on the mornings of August 25th and 26th. JCYC does this activity two times a year, in the fall and spring. Members will get to school early and set up to check their classmates' and teachers' cars to make sure they are wearing their seatbelts. If they are wearing their seatbelts, students and teachers will receive a dollar, a piece of candy, or a donut. They had a new addition to their group for their baseline seatbelt checks, including the PBPN Tribal Police. This is a great reminder for students to limit distractions while driving and focus on driving safely, while being greeted with a smile and a snack!
Thank you to the PBPN Tribal Police for partnering with the RVHS JCYC/SAFE for Bucks for Buckles!
Buckle Up, Panthers!
